ORIGINAL lino print - 'Viking Ships V'
This is an original lino cut print. Printed from a hand-cut lino plate in dark grey drawing ink on bright white Masa paper. (the version in the first photo, the blue version in the second photo is to show the full frontal layout only)
The printed area is approximately 27x19cm with a margin around for mounting and framing. It is presented 'loose' (ie unframed and without a mount) but send me a message with your frame size if you would like to discuss the addition of a hand-cut mount.
These ships are housed in the wonderful at Roskilde, Denmark, at the edge of the bay in which they were found. I love the design of the ship hall and particular the juxtaposition of these ancient slabs of wood and their modern steel skeletons.
