ORIGINAL lino print - 'Viking Ships II'
This is an original lino cut print. Printed from a hand-cut lino plate in dark blue and hand tinted with a rich yellow drawing ink on bright white Masa paper.
The printed area is approximately 30x20cm with a margin around for mounting and framing. It is presented 'loose' (ie unframed and without a mount) but send me a message with your frame size if you would like to discuss the addition of a hand-cut mount.
These ships are housed in the wonderful at Roskilde, Denmark, at the edge of the bay in which they were found. I love the design of the ship hall and particular the juxtaposition of these ancient slabs of wood and their modern steel skeletons.
