Original artwork description:

Study of the south facing view from Haytor on Dartmoor.
Managed to get down the area that was of interest to me before the rain came down, and I liked the composition of the unfinished painting with the guidelines and undercoat still showing.

Painted during my exercise of completing one plein air painting each week using the beautiful southwest landscape as source.
Early September.
