"View over the city of Lyon France" is an original palette knife oil painting on canvas, 25x25cm / 10x10inches, realized in the impasto technique. The painting is realized on linen, bonded on wood panel and framed with mat board.

I was inspired to paint this contemporary modern impressionist painting while I was walking in the Chartreux Garden, an amazing spot with a breathtaking view over the beautiful city of Lyon.

This is a palette knife painting. No brush was used to create the work. I only used different types of palette knives to apply thick oil color paint.
