Original artwork description:

View Out Onto The Ocean / 14 Hours / An Aggregation Of Date Palms

“This was a piece that did not come easily, that required a lot of squeezing, staring and thinking. 2x 7 hours of painting. I was considering painting over it again, but liked the way it looked upside down.” It is the artist’s first exploration of painting in this size range. The title is a line from the diary on that day and is part of his ongoing practice, where he intuitively paints for a few hours each day, allowing for his mood and perception to influence the work.

Materials used:

Acrylic on canvas
