Original artwork description:

After spending the day on the main island of Venice, it was time to leave for my hotel. The brightly illuminated Salute across the lagoon looked majestic. I’ve tried to capture that mood in this painting.
This is painted on Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper using artist-grade watercolour paints. The colors of the actual painting may look slightly different from the image due to the effect of light on some pigments when photographed, particularly blue tones, and also due to different monitor settings and screen resolutions of electronic devices.
