Watercolors in the interior "View of the Pochaev Lavra" was painted from life during my plein air travel in western Ukraine.
My trip took place in the spring of 2020, during the first quarantine and self-isolation. I had the best and most real self-isolation because I traveled alone by bicycle, lived in a tent and painted beautiful places from nature.
The Pochaev Lavra gave me a lot of inspiration, I have been before more than once, but it was for the purpose of drawing these places that I came for the first time and painted many works in watercolors from nature.
This work depicts a classic view of the monastery as we see it when we approach it. But also in this plein air, I drew many non-standard views that are known only to locals or inquisitive artists like me.
The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.
All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
