I just spent a week in Zermatt, a skiing resort in Switzerland, where I painted this view of the Matterhorn from my hotel room window.
The Matterhorn is the iconic mountain of Zermatt and of Switzerland. In fact, the unusual shape of the Toblerone chocolate is based on the shape of the Matterhorn.
