This is a linocut depicting the walled city of Dubrovnik in Southern Croatia. George Bernard Shaw once said "those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik" and famously called the city "the pearl of the Adriatic". The work is based on a photo my younger sister took after visiting the place, which inspired me to produce this. It is part of a series of three prints of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Can be displayed alongside the other two as a triptych (please see photo).
This is a limited edition linocut, printed on 315gsm Heritage Bookwhite paper.
Your print will come wrapped in protective tissue paper to reach you in the best condition.
