I often walk around this area, the Avenues, Hull’s Bohemia, a land of late 19th century villas, shaded by tall trees, and hugging the university area. The bricks radiate a golden hue this morning and the horizon draws me ever further onwards. This work is a wonderful souvenir of England, evocative and cheerful, rich in detail and expression.

This colourful, cheerful work is a wonderful addition to any collection. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished
