Original artwork description:

This is an original painting of the landscape of Tskhaltubo as I was seeing it from my window. In July of 2015 my wife and I went to Tskhaltubo for a week of spa and plein air vacation. Tskhaltubo is a small resort town in Western Georgia, that is know for its spas and natural mineral water springs. That week turned out to be the hottest week of the summer that year. In the morning we were going to the spa for some massage and treatments, but the whole afternoon we spent in our room under the air conditioner. So I couldn't go for the plein air as I had planned, but instead was painting what I could see from the window and made some portraits of my wife. I hope that the viewer would feel the atmosphere of summer leisure and calmness. Painted on a gallery wrapped canvas, the picture is already framed with a golden frame, and it comes ready to hang. It is signed on the front with my initials in Georgian "Z" "Sh" (ზ.შ.).
