This artwork has a unique tonality and subtlety in its atmosphere It is an abstract landscape full of natural tones and warm, comforting tonal hues. It's painted using quality, high pigmented and light-fast acrylics and glazes on a quality, 100% cotton canvas.

The beautiful sky is the inspiration for this artwork. I have tried to capture subtle fog & dispersed lightin atmosphere up in the mountains and textures in the landforms which mesmerises the viewer

Signed on the front and back, my paintings are securely packaged, insured and shipped to you
The artwork is on paper which will be rolled in a tube and shipped. Once framed it will be ready to hang on wall.

About the process:
My painting process is emotive and highly energised. Often, I begin a piece inspired purely by emotion and then comes a memory of place and time...it's then that a landscape begins to form. Sometimes I begin with a landscape and then the piece becomes more abstracted as memory and emotions take over..I move fast and for long periods until I feel the painting has reached a certain point...then I catch my breath, stand back, look, absorb, then off I go again until the piece tells me it’s finished.
