We we staying a beautiful house close to Mahon on a big family holiday close to Mahon when I painted this. This is a view across the different walls and through the trees to countryside beyond.

Watercolour is one of my favourite mediums as you can achieve beautiful layers of translucent colour, and create some wonderful impressionisitic works. This was painted during 5 months of travel by campervan around europe with my family.
