Original artwork description:

We we staying a beautiful house close to Mahon on a big family holiday close to Mahon when I painted this. This is a view across the different walls out into the countryside. The tree in the foreground is meant to be an erybotrya (quince i think).

Watercolour is one of my favourite mediums as you can achieve beautiful layers of translucent colour, and create some wonderful impressionisitic works. This was painted during 5 months of travel by campervan around europe with my family.
