Original artwork description:

This is a much loved view across Lansallos Bay near Polruan in Cornwall. I have visited this area since I was a child. This lovely beach can only be accessed by footpath. The painting itself shows the stunning colours of the coastline and sea. Also I like to refer to the relationship between the land and human hence the tiny boat versus the vast land. It is painted in oils and texture added by scratching into the oil. I have used brushes for the sea and palette knives for the land.
