Painted from memory, this is a view across the bay of Dublin towards the hill of Howth that stands like an immovable sentinel watching the ferries move in and out of the port.

At the same time, the tides ebb and flow are echoed by the clouds drifting by in an endless procession.

This is a quiet painting that contrasts with the perpetual movements of the boats, the sea and the clouds.

This oil on deep edged beech panel does not need framing and is ready to hang.
