Original artwork description:

This painting is inspired by my trip to Tasmania for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart. Victoria Dock is a key dock for Australian Antarctic supply vessels and one of the oldest docks in Tasmania. The elements of color and the application of paint is reminiscent of the beautiful sunset during that time. I used the scratch-back technique to reveal the colors underneath.
