Original artwork description:

This sensual midnight blue painting was inspired by the famous painting "Birth of Venus" by Bottichelli.
I couldn't resist to make my own version of it, so hence the unusual waiving hair, the lofty bust and the flowers crowning them.

Most of my Beauties are of a hidden sensuality, but this one I wanted to have the quality of sensual exuberance.

Technique: acrylic and dripped synthetic enamel on top,
this is what gives the extra dimension and depth.
On my Vimeo profile you can find videos of how I exactly use this dripping technique, it's quite spectacular and full of risks (visually spoken, of course!).

As usual the sides are painted as well, so no frame is needed, unless you prefer.
This painting will be send rolled up in a tube.
