The expressions in the eyes of monkeys are so bewilderingly akin to those of our own and this is what I tired to capture here. Once when staying in Africa I made the mistake of leaving a window open when I popped out and on my return I discovered an escaping vervet monkey who had attempted to eat all of my make-up and strewn it all over the room! This is the expression I would like to think he had on his face when I returned had he hung around long enough for me to see it!
