This is an original oil painting on canvas by Australian artist Scott Maxwell

This is a very textured painting I made using a squeegee technique. There was already paint on the canvas before I used the squeegee so there's a great texture of smooth bands of colour scraped over the top so some underlying paint shows through. This is the first squeegee work I have painted in a vertical layout. I love the unpredictably of these types of paintings.

This painting is on a stretched canvas the edges of the canvas are painted black and a hanging wire is attached to the back so it is ready to hang unframed.
