Original artwork description:

'Vertical Space' is a large and dynamic abstract that will transform any room. The dominant colours are red, orange, yellow, black and white. There are strong vertical lines.

The techniques used were brushwork for the background, then adding vertical lines by dripping paint and ink at an angle. Finally paint was added using palette knives and splattering.

'Vertical Space' is painted on plywood with a wooden frame behind. The frame is slightly warped and this has been taken into account in the pricing. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint applied with brushes, dripping, splattering and palette knives. Some ink also used.
