Saying about an author that many have already said and written about is not always easy, sometimes it becomes banal or even repetitive. however, for those who love the understandable and easy even in art criticism, it will suffice to say that Ciardi's paintings are beautiful, pleasant, cheerful and well painted. And that's that. In this painting Claudio Ciardi creates a diffused brightness. The clear horizon line of the sea keeps the painting in balance. The vegetation on the first floor balances the intense colors of the houses in Vernazza. Everything is held together by a successful tonal atmosphere. It is the rebirth of PAINTING, the true one, the one that to be such must take place in ways of universal language.
