Verdant Green is an original abstract expressionist style painting by Suzanne Vaughan. Thick paint is applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

It captures the fresh energy and vitality of nature in rich vibrant greens, inspired by the fresh lush growth of a green field of grass in the Spring.

Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted a light color, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front.
