Verdant Green is an original abstract expressionist style painting by Suzanne Vaughan. Thick paint is applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

It captures the fresh energy and vitality of nature in rich deep greens, inspired by the soothing energy of Spring time.

Painted on a piece of canvas with an extra 4 inches around the 40” x 40” painting which allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame.
