The Ashdown Forest in summer. I have painted this in vibrant greens to describe the lush feel of early summer with soft pinks and yellows in the grasses to suggest wild flowers and new growth. These trees are a representation of an area high in the forest. One of the aspects I like is that the distant hills and valleys are always visible.
