Venus is waiting by the shore of a peaceful lake, with stars hanging low in the evening sky. Her filmy mask, which closes her eyes, is made of lace painted in white and pearlescent blue acrylic paint.

Painted in Winsor & Newton professional acrylics, on a Winsor & Newton canvas, with highlights of pearlescent blue acrylic paint in the mask and on her earring. This pearlescent quality catches the light beautifully (difficult to show in the photographs).

The image is painted around the edges of the canvas (see photographs) so there's no need for a frame; it's ready to hang.

Wrapped in acid-free tissue, packed flat and sent by Tracked Delivery.
