Romantic image of a reclining, jewelled Venus waiting in her warm boudoir.
The distant landscape and rising moon is visible through the heavy red curtains which are being parted by her visiting lover.
Her dress and hair is covered in stars; her fingers toy with the satin and silk drapery.

Drawn in chalk pastel on 'Barcham Green' English acid-free handmade paper.

The drawing has been sprayed well with fixative then another light layer of pastel added for the highlights of the stars and on her dress.
N.B. This top layer has been lightly sprayed.

Available presented on a flat mount board.

The drawing will need to be to be window-mounted (if desired) and framed.
Alternatively it could be removed from the mount board and "floated" in a deep frame. It is imperative that the pastel is kept away from glass.

Wrapped in acid-free tissue and sent by Tracked Delivery with a Certifcate of Authenticity.
