Inspired by Sandro Botticelli’s Venus, a piece I have loved since I was a child, combined with the concept of an ex voto - a painting or object offered as a gratitude for answered prayers. The piece symbolizes concepts of personal power, striving towards our highest self, and unwavering faith.
She wears a French styled Sacred Heart Ex-Voto with a flaming rayons around the heart which represents the subject you’re praying for and for which the symbol is offered. The piece itself was crated as an ex voto in faith that my prayers will be answered.
