Original artwork description:

The second of the three watercolours that make up a panorama of the lagoon, looking from Piazza San Marco from San Giorgio to San Servolo. Painted with lagoon water, which does not seem to have caused any problem! Again, I am trying to catch the effect of light on trees and buildings rather than the specific details. It has appeared in various exhibitions over the years.

Materials used:

Watercolour on Saunders watercolour paper
