Artwork description:

This is a limited edition series of one of my photographs that I have digitally manipulated and then created a digital negative, which has then been used to create this cyanotype print. Venice is my favourite city and I have many, many images that I have taken through the years. I like the effect that this type of printing gives to the image.

Total No. Prints Available: 25
Size: A4 (29.7 X 21cms)
Surface: Bockingford cold-press 140lbs watercolour paper.
Signed on the reverse.
Certificate of Authenticity.
Free UK postage.

Each print in the series is slightly different, complete with unique organic watermarks and runs. I love this organic process and the unpredictable results that can happen, and I only create them using natural sunlight.

This print is sold unmounted and unframed, and a border is left around the edges to give the option of leaving the variable edges showing if desired. It is signed and numbered on the back, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It will be sent in a padded envelope via Royal Mail tracked and signed-for.

The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed with water oxidise to create beautiful Prussian Blue images - one of my favourite colours.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

All profits from my artwork are donated to Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay - a wonderful charity that supports patients and their loved ones through the worst possible times.

Materials used:

Cyanotype chemicals, Bockingford cold-press 140lbs watercolour paper, digital negative, natural sunlight.
