Original artwork description:

I remember my mum was dreaming about Venice for couple of decades at least. She was going on about it and each time there was a travel programme on TV she'd sigh and her eyes lit up. And then I moved to London and arranged her to come to visit me, then it was a quick and very secret planning till we jumped on Ryanair flight - what could be easier! She got so excited that her blood pressure jumped. I almost kidnapped her to visit Venice, otherwise she'd never do it. And how just lucky we were to get there at the time of Carnival! It was just awesome. Painting inspired by one of many photographs I took back then at 2011.
