I‘m always inspired by markets. So much body language and expression, so much movement. So I get the camera out and just shoot without looking, I click on the run. Only later I find dramatic candid captures which inspire ideas such as this seller at the market.
Here I focus on one seller and try to capture the hustle and bustle of a busy market using this angle, this one character, and lots of splashed paint. The close up pictures give a better sense of the paint, paper and the brush stroke. Then there’s the work in progress. And there’s a picture with me standing next to the painting for perspective.
