Original artwork description:

I love to paint still life in a way which hints at an underlying story often selecting items which have a personal meaning, an evocative hint of memories past, a sense of absence, of longing. . . . and it is for the viewer to find their own connection to the painting. The use of a palette knife to introduce delicate texture gives the painting a contemporary feel.

This painting is sold unframed. I do not varnish my paintings , as I prefer the slightly chalky look of the oils as laid down. If you would like it varnished before sending, I can do so at no extra cost.

The painting is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and initialled on the front.

I ship internationally using an insured, tracked and signed for service. Please note that payment of import duty/tax is the responsibility of the buyer.
