Original artwork description:

My work is inspired by my surroundings, both at home in the Fenlands of the UK and further afield. "Variations ll" is one of a small series referencing my memories and experiences of the dynamic bursts of colour which can occur when reflections of the huge skies hit water alongside the geometry and layers of the fenlands around me. I created this artwork using several layers of oil paints and cold wax medium, applying the paint with a palette knife and other tools. It represents a stage in my ongoing exploration of these exciting media.
It is framed in a white floater frame and has d-rings and wire, ready to hang. It is signed front and back.
