Original artwork description:

Variations 1 is the first in a small series of paintings inspired by my memories and experiences of the dynamic bursts of colour which can occur when reflections of the huge skies hit water alongside the geometry and layers of the UK Fenlands.
I created the artwork using oil paint and cold wax medium, applying this with palette knife and any other tools that came to hand.
It is framed in a white floater frame, with d-rings and wire on the back so it is ready to hang. It is signed front and back.
