In this painting, I aimed to capture the tranquil yet poignant essence of a town bathed in the golden hues of sunset. Utilizing watercolor, gouache, tempera, and ink, I wove together elements of figurative, fine art, impressionism, and realism styles to evoke a sense of timelessness and warmth. The gentle light casts deep shadows and illuminates the architecture, inviting the observer into a peaceful, introspective moment. This piece radiates a calming energy, ideal for bringing a touch of serene elegance to any home.

These paintings were created during a trip aboard the boat "Nuka". After a day at sea, there's nothing quite like finding yourself in the charming atmosphere of an old Breton town, bathed in the warm, soft light of the setting sun—a true haven of peace.

Each house here feels like a living, aged person, bearing the traces of a long and beautiful life. I try to guess the character of each one and capture it with my brushes.
