Original artwork description:

This portrait of a beautiful Snow Leopard was my 2024 entry into the global competition 'Sketch for Survival', which raises money to help all animals, plants and sea creatures on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Whilst my artwork wasn't one of the 100 paintings selected for final auction it was still a genuine pleasure to enter this competition and support such a good cause.
The blurring around the leopards face symbolises the potential threat of this stunning creature becoming extinct and fading into the annals of history.
The portrait was created using water soluble coloured pencils and acrylic paint.
