The Rose Festival is held in Kazanlak, Bulgaria which is part of the Rose Valley in the country.
This is large size painting painted in acrylic and gold/copper wax. The eye-catching abstraction depicts the valley of roses painted over three layers of acrylic paint applied with pallet knife and wide brush strokes all over its surface. This artwork is hand-painted on a stretched wooden frame with painted edges, which makes it ready to hang. Measurements are 50x70cm.
