One of my favourite Ashdown Forest walks is down into the valley from a hillside path and up the other side. This painting views the valley from that side, looking back to see the blue/grey low level mist that is so often there. I have used different thicknesses of oil paint, much of it spread with a cloth to keep the composition loose. The paper is thick, good quality fine art paper, ideal for framing within a mount.
