A square format painting in acrylic on canvas inspired by the hills and valleys of the English Lake District, where I've spent much time. The title is taken from Robert Mc Farlane's book 'The Old Ways' one of my favourite books about the history and atmosphere of the British landscape.
It's painted on canvas stretched over a wooden frame, using professional artist quality acrylics, mainly shades of ultramarine, violet, sap green, Van Dyke red, sienna, burnt and raw umber, grey and white. The painting is completed with one layer of varnish for protection, and the sides are painted blue- black; there are picture hooks and cord on the reverse so it's ready to hang.
The painting is initialled in the lower right hand corner, and signed in full on the back. A Certificate of Authenticity will be enclosed with the painting, which will be carefully wrapped and sent tracked and insured with Royal Mail, to reach you in perfect condition.
Thank you very much for your interest in this painting; I would be delighted to answer any questions about it, so please get in touch if there is anything you would like to ask.
***International buyers please note that any import/customs duties, taxes or charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost; these are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be reimbursed later. Buyers are requested to make their own enquiries regarding any such additional costs which may apply in their country.
