Study of the sculpture “Vador toi-même”. The Dark Vador© character in George Lucas's movie (Star Wars©) amused and inspired JL Lacroix to create the sculpture as a parody of the movie. The artist used steel suction cups for his feet to add a touch of fun to the character.
The drawing was created on book paper (“Shakespeare”, by Victor Hugo), 15x24 cm, with China ink, pencil.s, Conté, acrylic, and mounted on Arches paper 600g 24x32cm. See an example of a black frame (+1.5cm) on the pictures).

Signed JlL and titled below right, with a JlL stamp on the back. Certificate of authenticity.
The sculpture is available on the website. And good to know! The artist offers the drawing when purchasing the sculpture.
