About Sveta Osborne I paint original acrylic and mixed-media works from my studio in the United States, creating textured, layered pieces that bring color and atmosphere into the home. Born in Minsk, Belarus, I have worked as an artist for many years. My paintings are inspired by the natural world, especially the changing light, organic forms, and quiet beauty of gardens and landscapes. I build each work through layers of paint and sculptural texture, allowing subtle details and color to emerge gradually. I love the way a painting can change throughout the day. Collectors sometimes tell me they discover a new edge of color or texture weeks after bringing a piece home. That sense of discovery is an important part of my work. My paintings are created for lived-in spaces — dining rooms, sitting areas, hallways, bedrooms, and other places where art becomes part of everyday life.
