Original artwork description:

A large, highly textured abstract painting with vivid blues, purples, oranges and reds. The painting has been built over many layers of thick oil and oil washes giving it depth. I recently returned from a visit to the Yorkshire coast, spending time walking and sitting on benches overlooking the sea- the painting reflects a mood of contemplation and peacefulness.

The canvas is painted around the edges in complementary colours. Hooks and picture hanging cord are attached so the canvas is ready for hanging. The painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity attached at the back.
