A Deep relief sculpture in wood

After William Blake's Book of Urizen

The piece is carved in a single beautiful piece of walnut wood without any use of mechanical or electric tools. It's only chisels and sandpaper. I learned this traditional carving technique while living in Macedonia a few years back. Working wood is a very meditative kind of process. It takes a lot of time amd patience and you have to understand and work with the particular piece. You're Welcome to enjoy the outcome of this work.
