Watercolor sketch “Urbino. Italy” was painting from life during my plein air led travel across Italy in spring-summer 2019.

The city of Urbino in Italy is located on a hill and impresses with its beauty and picturesqueness, when you are next to these stunning monuments of architecture it is simply breathtaking.
In the city of Urbino, the great Renaissance artist Rafael Santi was born and raised.

I traveled around Italy by bicycle, and I especially remember this route from Fabriano to Urbino. The road is serpentine and the climb is very strong, so for the last few kilometers to the city I got down and barely pushed my loaded bike.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
