Original artwork description:

The dichotomy of power generation vs the natural world. The sky in all it's vastness is reduced by the presence of the ubiquitous power pole, replete as it is with human ingenuity and technology, and in so doing we have harnessed even the sky.

A universal element in all of our lives, the humble power pole against a gorgeous setting sun in this lovely acrylic painting, 920x1220 mounted on a framed stretcher, ready to hang. Has a lovely realistic look with an early evening sky moved slightly to purple hues with orange tones at the horizon.
