Original artwork description:

When I first started this painting I wasn't sure where I wanted it to go. I tend normally to paint seascapes but on this occasion I painted a cityscape but found I was still thinking about my favourite views and so it developed - a cityscape but the Hebridean homes and lighthouse were very much to the forefront of my focus. There is a city skyline The city skyline is shrouded in mist from which the little white houses and the lighthouse emerge.
