I was playing with warm and cool tones, detail and abstraction, thick and thin texture in this piece.
I want the viewer to feel the energy of contemporary urban space, to experience the mixture of calm and adrenaline, to get some emotional contrast.
I applied impasto to some areas of the painting to create a thick texture that is not only visible to the eye, but can be felt with the hand.
