Words and feelings of a landscape I often see on my drive to the coast of Dorset on the outskirts of Weymouth.

I created this watercolour for my YouTube channel showing many art demos. It was a painting I painted gradually. I used wet on wet techniques for the background washes and then applied the poppies by pressing or dropping the paint on, carefully the detail evolved by pressing more paint on around the poppies using a Chinese brush. The summer bushy trees were applied with a sable hair brush using an anti clockwise and clockwise brush movement on wet paper.
