here is an Instagram-friendly museum in Amsterdam called the Upside Down Museum - 'the largest interactive Instagram museum in Europe, where you make the rules!' - where you can experience an upside down world. Depending on which way up you hung them, this artist's 'Reflection' series of paintings would go well on the walls of the Upside Down Museum. There is absolutely no technical difficulties or inherent problems in painting familiar objects upside down. The artist doesn't paint standing on his head, for instance. Add the distorting mirror effect of the moving water and what you basically have is an abstract painting that vaguely resembles some houses situated quite close, one presumes, to the Upside Down Museum.
